The Natural History Museum, SportsAid and Place2Be have announced The Duchess of Cambridge as their new patron.

The NHM appointment comes after Kate opened the museum's Treasures exhibition last November and her visit to Borneo with The Duke of Cambridge, where the couple met with museum scientists. Dr Michael Dixon, Director of the Natural History Museum, commented 'I very much look forward to involving her more in our work and hope she may join us in inspiring the next generation'.
